This blog is to chronicle my journey from this to inner peace. Or something like that.
My Dream
Imagine: pulling up in front of your house and liking what you see. The flower beds are weeded, the kids toys are put away. Walking into your house and letting out a big sigh of relief. The pillows are on the couch, the coffee table has no leftover dishes from breakfast on it, the floor is clear for you to walk without tripping. You journey into the kitchen and no dishes are left on the sink or the counter, no food going bad in the fridge. You glance over at the washer and dryer and know that the load you put in the washer that morning is ready to be dried and no loads need to go in. Dinner is cooking in the slow cooker. The healthy snack you prepped last night is waiting for you in the fridge. The children come home from school, unpack, and immediately begin their homework, their after-school routine ingrained completely.
That's the dream.
In reality, I am constantly feeling out of control: my eating, my energy level, my house, the laundry, the bills, the kids . . . . .
I'm taking babysteps now, but I'll get there someday!
